“Ron Patrick is an exceptional educational consultant. Utilizing adult learning theory, his workshops are full of active participation and thought provoking activities which create change.  Personally I have left these workshops renewed and committed to changing an old practice.  Ron is a motivator!”
E. Kenneth Buckley, Principal
Mentor Exempted Village Schools
Mentor, Ohio

“Mr. Patrick has distinguished himself as a collaborative leader who welcomes input when problem-solving, but who always rises to the challenge when the tough decisions need to be made.  He is always cool, calm, and collected under crisis scenarios and makes rational decisions under pressure.  He is well respected as an educational leader by his colleagues at central office, principals in the field, teachers and support staff, parents, community members, and students.”
Larry G. Disbro, Ed.D., Assistant Superintendent/K-12 Education
Mentor Exempted Village Schools
Mentor, Ohio

“I have worked directly and extensively with Mr. Patrick for nearly two years, both in preparation and post certification, as he became who I now feel is one of our most experienced Certified AIMSweb Trainers (CAT’s) in the field.  His understanding of curriculum-based measurement (CBM) and related applications is truly exceptional.  His ability to translate his strong knowledge of CBM application, AIMSweb, best practices, and understanding of Special Education services and related educational law into meaningful instruction is done with skill and sincerity.  Ron is able to convey complex concepts in ways that connect well with diverse educators—and always with a touch of humor that adds to their experience.  Additionally, he is kind, thoughtful, and gracious.  Always.   In fact, in anonymous opinion surveys conducted following various AIMSweb Trainings lead by Mr. Patrick, Greater that 90% of all respondents awarded Ron the highest rating possible for his credibility, ability to present an organized, well-prepared presentation, encouragement of trainee participation, approachability, and in creating a comfortable learning environment for his trainees.”

“You are one of a kind Ron and I am thankful for you.  I appreciate your tender care for us as support staff and your genuine concern for children.  You are kind, compassionate, and uplifting.  You have brought our support staff together as a cohesive group and the camaraderie was evident at the last retreat.  Thanks you for being an honest, open human being.  I have been blessed to know you.”
Kathryn Wahlgren, School Nurse
Mentor Exempted Village Schools

“I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to tell you how wonderful you are!!!  You MADE the class.  I have a much better understanding of AIMSweb and what it can do for my students….I read do thank you your works of encouragement.  You have no idea how much my spirit needed to hear them!!!  It’s been a difficult year and my teaching soul was getting tattered.  Your simple, heart-felt words mended it and I’m ready to go again.
You really do touch lives in ways I think you are unaware of – and for that I thank you on behalf of all the teachers you will meet.”
Kelly Pitts, Teacher

“I wanted to let you know what a great job you did in facilitation our RTI meeting last week.  I think our teachers really got a handle on many of their questions and left with a better understanding of RTI, AIMSweb and their role.  Your knowledge of AIMS and how it fits, along with your sense of humor, keeps us all in perspective.”
Patty Minrovic, Principal
Miller & Craddock Schools
Aurora City Schools
Aurora, Ohio

“I am writing…to share with you our appreciation and admiration for our AIMSweb trainer, Ron Patrick.  Mr. Patrick facilitated the open workshop for training of trainers in Westerville, Ohio.  Mr. Patrick left our training attendees’ highly motivated and eager to continue their work utilizing the AIMSweb materials and site.  More importantly, Mr. Patrick’s comprehensive background in education students and supporting our colleagues through the use of data enhance the entire training experience.
The range of participant understanding of AIMSweb varied a great deal; however, Mr. Patrick managed to be inclusive of all participants.  He not only found a way to connect everyone, but modified the workshop to assist small groups of learners.  Mr. Patrick presented himself as a sincere, caring, and invested presenter while moving us forward through the material.  Mr. Patrick has a gift of providing information regarding the significance of data based decisions yet keeping the focus on what is best for children.

His use of humor, research, technology, and highly effective communication skills is a rare combination and a welcomed change in workshop presentation preparation.  We feel fortunate to have had Mr. Patrick in our district for two days!”
Amy Miller, Intervention Assistance Facilitator

“Ron has co-facilitated year long professional development in the areas of collaboration and teaming in our district.  Ron brought his expertise in the areas of teaming, collaboration, and processing to name a few to our staff.  Ron is very teacher/staff friendly and oriented.  His demonstrations and activities keep staff active, engaged and interested at all times.  He is a very skillful and effective presenter.”

Sent to Mrs. Nancy Santilli, Principal of Kenston High School, Chagrin Falls, Ohio—

“Hi Nancy, I just wanted to ask if there was a way to get me the email of Ron from yesterday.  I wanted to really thank him, and you for bringing him here, for everything yesterday.  To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t full sure if I wanted to stay in education, and after the session with Ron, my fire was restated!!!!  I knew that I was only going through the motions since school started and didn’t know how to fix that.  After Ron’s meeting. I realized that I hadn’t done it all yet and there are plenty of things left to do.  I’ve already been the teacher of the year, but only once, and I’m going to try for that again and again.  So thank you so much!”
Bryan Scheider, High School Science Teacher
Kenston High School
Chagrin Falls, Ohio

“Ron Patrick is a dynamic trainer who facilitates deep and powerful learning with warmth, humor, and an uncanny ability to connect with even the most resistant training participants.  I’ve had the privilege of working with Ron on multiple occasions, and have watched him consistently open eyes and hearts in an almost magical way.  In 2001, I chose Ron to be the facilitator of the “Wyoming 21st Century Learning Institute” sponsored by a regional technology consortium.  It may have been the best professional decision I ever made.  During this five-day experience, Ron Introduced teachers and technology staff from multiple school districts to innovative collaborative and constructivist philosophies and strategies that lead to high-performance Digital Age learning.  Participants, many of whom approached the training with considerable skepticism, were unanimous in their high praise and described the experience as “rejuvenating, “ and “the best training I’ve ever attended,” and even “life-changing.”
These are typical responses to his training sessions, because Ron’s unique blend of professional knowledge, life experience, and charisma enable him to facilitate truly transformational learning.  His training participants don’t just acquire knowledge—they embark on journeys of profound discovery.
If you’re looking for a learning experience that will transform the hearts and minds of you team, contact Ron.  You’ll be glad you did.

“Thanks Ron, for your willingness to go above and beyond!  I also appreciate your manner and presence as a facilitator.  Your ability to advocate for all of those children out there through your encouragement of teachers and paraprofessionals to do whats right for students is wonderful.  This message helps all of us to remember who our “clients” are and that our focus needs to be on them.  You are a compelling individual.  Thank you for your wisdom and humor.”

“Ron has worked with the elementary schools in Buckeye for the last two years and he has had a phenomenal impact on our staff and students.  He has worked on initiatives with our paraprofessionals, bus drivers and teachers.  With his expertise in the areas of staff development, group dynamics, data analysis, response to intervention and AIMSweb, our schools were able to significantly increase our state scores, which resulted in our elementary school reaching the status of excellent for the first time ever.  I would highly recommend his services to any district that wants to increase student learning and build capacity for new initiatives.”

“There are not words to describe last week!  Nor are there words sufficient to thank you for you guidance in helping our wonderful group of Upper Campus teachers experience their own capacity for building community.”

“Sitting Bull College is a small tribal institution on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. The reservation is about 2.3 million acres and located on the southwestern and northwestern part of North and South Dakota. As the Division of Education Chair it has been our honor to have Ron Patrick work with our education students, teachers and administrators. Initially I was introduced to Ron while he was a consultant for a nationally recognized intervention program. The organization understood our need to have someone who could relate to the uniqueness of our Standing Rock communities. During the next several years Ron has provided relevant professional development training for our Standing Rock teachers, students, and administrators. He also served as an adjunct faculty one semester and taught the Adolescent Learner course required for licensure by South Dakota Department of Instruction. Ron has expertise in several areas, topics of training include but not limited to: leadership, prevention/intervention, cooperative learning, cross cultural communication, classroom management and counseling. Words alone can not express the impact Ron Patrick has on those he meets. As a Native American, Ron models the values of wisdom, fortitude, generosity, and bravery; he truly ‘walks the talk’.”
Ron, for all you’ve done for us “pi la ma ya”!
